I always wanted to buy a sailor style shirt. But finding the right stripes and above the texture was a difficult undertaking. I always thought that the basic items such as denim shirt, white shirt, trench coat, a striped shirt, is the most difficult to buy. Finding them is easy but surely find the perfect stripe, the right shade of blue jeans is much more difficult enterprise, but it’s worth it to commit to finding the right piece that will never leave our closet.
So after much research and not very satisfactory purchases I found this shirt in Menton in a store that sold only items with stripes.



Ho sempre desiderato acquistare una maglia in puro stile marinaio. Ma trovarla con la riga giusta e soprattutto con la trama giusta è stata un impresa difficile. Ho sempre pensato che i capi basici come la camicia di jeans, la camicia bianca, il trench, la maglia a righe, siano quelli più difficili da acquisare. Trovarli è sicuramente facile ma trovare la riga perfetta, la giusta tonalità del blue jeans o il taglio adatto per la camicia e il trench sono imprese ben piu difficili, ma ne vale la pena impegnarsi per trovare il pezzo giusto che non abbandonerà mai il nostro armadio.
Così dopo numerose ricerche e acquisti non proprio soddisfacenti ho trovato questa maglia a Mentone in un negozio che vendeva unicamente capi con le righe.
