Hello hello guys! While I’m packing my bags for a new trip, here I continue my diary of my tirp in Provence made a few weeks ago.
We left San Remo, one of the Italian cities closer to the border of France, and we’ve been around about a week. We spent the first day on the way to Avignon, we passed by through the fields of lavender and sunflowers, and crossing the wonderful Verdon and the towns of Gourdon and Castellaine.
Buongiorno buongiorno ragazzi!
Strangely it was a pretty quiet town, full of tourist, but not too much as many cities in Provence. Honestly it was one of the villages that I liked more, I would spend in the city willingly few more hours, but instead we have only a short ride, some souvenirs (food of course) and the way to Castellaine.
We had not planned to stop in Castellaine, but at the sight of an old bridge and an impressive mountain with a church at the top, we could’nt not to stop.
If you like sports, you can find in the city many agencies that organize tours in kayak, rafting and canyoning. This time we decided to skip the extreme sports, but a few years ago we tried the canyoning, which I guarantee that gives a great adrenaline rush.
Towards the evening we finally reached Avignon, and even if we have been pretty exausted after a long roadtrip, we decided to have a walk by the river. But this in the next post!
Now I hav to close my suitcases, and tomorrow at 7 am we leave for a new destination! Where? Find out on my instagram @angystearoom and follow our adventures next week!
