The temperature changes in these days are extremely significant, there are strong variations between day and night or just from one day to another. In these cases, you must have a jacket to grab at last second with one foot already out of the door when your mom is screaming to you to dress up better cause you can get sick. (already done, thank you) This leather biker jacket from Della Croce is my “save me from flu” piece, always perfect in every look; a bit like this bag which I worn over and over again a thousand times and in hundreds of different looks.

I don’t know if I have already told the story of this bag, now does it came in my closet. About 4 or 5 years ago I bought it in a vintage shop in Porta Ticinese in Milan. Since then she has lived a quite intense life, paparazzed during the fashion weeks, appeared on the pages of international magazines and photographed by  the most influential street style photographers. And then of course a lot of evenings in the company of my friends who she has miraculously survived and dinner by candlelight in the most beautiful places in the world. It was really a worthy traveling companion, and I think he has lived an interesting life with me, but as every vintage piece she was already owned by someone, and she lived another story in another place. The vintage always has its charm, and it would be so nice to discover the history of each piece.

Gli sbalzi di temperatura in questi giorni sono notevoli, ci sono fortissimi cambiameti tra giorno e notte o semplicemente tra un giorno e altro. In questi casi è d’obbligo avere una giacca da acchiappare all’ultimo secondo mentre si ha già un piede nella porta, ma la tua mamma ti urla dietro che ti ammalerai ( già fatto, grazie)  se non ti vesti meglio. Per me si tratta di questa biker in pelle verde di Della Croce, sempre perfetta; un po come questa borsa, vista e rivista mille volte e su centinaia di look differenti.

Non so se vi ho già raccontato la storia di questa borsa, come è arrivata nel mio armadio. Circa 4 oppure 5 anni fa l’ho comprata in un negozietto vintage in porta Ticinese a Milano. Da allora ha vissuto una vita abbastanza intensa, paparazzata durante le settimane della moda, comparsa sulle pagine delle riviste internazionali e fotografata dai streetstyle fotografi più influenti. E poi ovviamente tantissime serate in compagnia dei miei amici a cui è sopravvissuta per miracolo e cena a lume di candela nei posti più belli del mondo. E’ stata davvero una degna compagna di viaggio, e credo che abbia vissuto una vita interessante con me, ma come ogni pezzo vintage è già appartenuta a qualcuno, e ha vissuto un altra storia in un altro posto. Il vintage ha sempre il suo fascino, e sarebbe così bello scoprire la storia di ogni pezzo.
