As every summer for the past four years, this time as well we came back in our favorite Dolomites mountains.
This place famous for its incredible landscapes and awesome trekking paths ( I’m gonna share with you my favorites in the next posts) is also famous for its tricky weather even in summer. And this is one of the reasons why we always plans our stay just a couple of days in advance!
This time we’ve been really lucky to find an amazing weather with a lot of sun and warm temperature, so to be allowed to enjoy the mountains at full! But one of these days we woke up and found out so much rain, and fog and just 8 degrees ( in the middle of summer!). I have to honestly say that if I would ever find this kind of weather in any place of this world, I’m probably ( for sure ) will stay at home complaining and sipping a thousand of cups of tea, but not here.
This place is so special to me, I love it so deeply and so much that the moment I saw this outside my eyes became so happy as the eyes of a kid in front of the sweetest and biggest ice-creams. I immediately informed Pier that today we gonna spend a lot of time outside and will do a photographic road trip! And after seeing all these beautiful photos I’m sure my mission is accomplished!
We drove in one of my favs places called il passo di Valparola, it’s the pass you have to do if you are driving from Corvara to Cortina, and it’s just offer incredible incredible view o metter the weather!
We stopped so many times the cars, went outside for some shoots or just stayed in the warm of the car listening great music and watching the clouds moving trough pine trees. I become very sensitive in front of the beauty of the nature, this time so much as I almost ( ok, I did ) crying in front all of this.
I highly suggest you guys to do this pass wherever the weather, cause it’s so beautiful in this moody way or in sunshine as this time we’ve been here.
I have no idea what’s happening but when it rains the little rivers become pink!
I know this place so well, but I’m sure there is so much more to see, as for exemple to see it in autumn, hmm yes, it’s now, and well, I’m trying to convince my bf that we must go!
See in a couple of posts with my top 5 favorite paths!
