As every year I spent the holidays at home with my family, it’s became a tradition now, while 5 years ago Pier and I used to go away for NY to celebrate it in some European capital, as Rome, London and Barcelona.

It’s always a big deal what to wear for NYE, somebody plan it with a huge advance, thinking about the trends and right colors, or go for sparkles or a classic red. As for me, I always love to dress up for this event, and look great in this occasion.

This year I opted for a red dress with fringes and with one shoulder off. I love the ’20s vibe of the dress, and that’s why I opted for a retro inspired make up and hair. I stayed simple with the jewelry, using big sparkly earrings .

This kind of dress is never get old, and you can wear it though the years for different occasions. Honestly talking party dresses are the once I spend the most from my wardrobe, as they are basically most expensive because of the quality of the materials, embroideries or embellishments. But it’s really the right choice, to get the one you like, that you will love and wear for different occasions and always will look stunning.

This kind of dresses are usually the most expensive, that’s why it’s really smart to get them on sale, I always look up for a cool evening/cocktail dress to add to my collection during the sale season. If it’s something truly beautiful it doesn’t metter if you got it in 2014 or just a week before the event, trust me guys!

I have this sparkly dress that that I wore the first time for a wedding, and then for several other events as this Aquazzura cocktail and all the times so may asks me where I got it and making compliments.
