During the whole month spent in NYC we could have known better the city, discovered new places and of course, I tought it would have been cool to share all of our discoveries here with you.
We stayed in Chelsea, in a little apartment with an incredible view, who of you followed my adventures on instagram or snapchat ( @angystearoom) probably have seen that view many many times.
Fun fact is that at my first time in NYC, which was a while ago, we stayed in the same apartment. And for us, that place became special, our little home in NYC where we always come back years after years…
We felt in love with Chelsea from the first time, 23th street have such a cool energy and the 9th avenue is full of little restaurants and cool place and psss…the best cupcakes in town! But crazy fact now, we never never been under the 9th street, never been on the High Line and guys, this is just insane! Cause there are so many cool places where have a coffe or lunch!
After a long morning walk on the High Line we decided to stop by one of the places, The Standard Grill, and try their delicious food for a lunch.
The place is really cool and has an incredible outside patio, full of green plants and lights in the evening. There is an incredible light inside the restaurant, perfect for instagram picture hahah, and the interior is a mix of wood and white, which I find the most realxing and calm combinations. But all the pictures will explain you better the place than my bad english.
The food is really good! And I highly recommend to try their tuna salad!

I love discovering cute places to eat and drink when in a different city… I always try to make a list of all the places I want to go to, and this one is definitely entering my list 🙂

Ah me too! I found really cool also to use some applications as Yelp or Tripadvisor, and save some places suggested by friends!
13 May 2015 at 18:21Great food. I was in the mood for freshly made scallops, and they had a great scallops on brown rice option. Quite a comprehensive selection of raw oysters, and a well-crafted beer menu at San Francisco restaurants. It's a place with a great atmosphere.
